Who is Sean O'Connor?
Creator of Pink Pole Power
Sean O'Connor is best known around the world for pinking the poles of pole fitness dancers of all ages for breast cancer and pole fitness awareness since 2009.
He is also becoming well known for promoting pole fitness, pole athletes, and pole dancers that are helping show pole in an elegant manner through a project he calls RETHINK Pole Fitness.
Highlights:
- 2009-Erika Swanson first pole dancer to get a pink pole setting the stage of what was to come.
- 2010-Gives away 200 Pink Pole Power silicone awareness bracelets. Writes pole song: Pole Star.
- 2011-Raised thousands of dollars for breast cancer charities with partnerships Mighty Grip, Studio Veena, Studio 409, and Pink Poles Across Australia projects. World Champion Felix Cane makes special video for Sean O'Connor as thank you for his work in the pole community.
- 2012-Continue to raise money for The Weekend to End Women's Cancers, this time in beautiful Montreal Canada.
- Introduces a campaign called RETHINK Pole Fitness. (to help non-pole dancers discover pole fitness through creative ads, videos and live events)
- Introduces Pink Pole Power Ambassadors. (Marion Crampe, and Crystal Lai) to spread word through workshops around the world.
